Dopo il tornado NBC che ha scelto di non trasmettere i Golden Globes 2022, arrivano le nomination con i “nostri” Paolo Sorrentino ed Enrico Casarosa con “Luca”
Alla fine la cerimonia dei Golden Globes 2022, le cui nomination sono state annunciate in queste ore, si farà. Dopo la scelta dello storico network NBC di non trasmetterli per la non inclusione, mancanza di diversità e parte di un sistema corrotto nella Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), l’evento avrà vita in forma più discreta il prossimo 9 gennaio.
Ad annunciare i candidati nella sezione Cinema, dove sono entrati meritatamente Paolo Sorrentino con È Stata La Mano di Dio come Migliore Film Straniero, ed Enrico Casarosa che ha portato la sua Riviera Ligure in Luca della Disney Pixar e concorrerà come Migliore Film D’Animazione, sono stati Helen Hoehne (presidente dell’HFPA) e il rapper/attore/produttore Snoop Dogg.

A maggio i grandi colossi Netflix, Amazon Studios e Warner Media avevano minacciato di non collaborare più con la HFPA, fino a quando non avesse applicato regole più inclusive. In tutta risposta l’organizzazione aveva dichiarato di avere lavorato per un cambiamento della struttura, includendo persone afroamericane nel comitato organizzativo.
