Nomadland trionfa alla notte degli Oscar 2021 – I vincitori
Nomadland trionfa come miglior film alla 93esima edizione degli Academy Awards. Il film di Chloé Zhao, vincitore del Leone d’Oro all’ultima Mostra di Venezia, conquista 3 statuette (miglior film, miglior regia e miglior attrice protagonista a Frances McDormand).
La notte degli Oscar ha riservato diverse sorprese, tra cui l’Oscar a migliore attore assegnato ad Anthony Hopkins per The Father (il secondo in carriera dopo Il Silenzio degli Innocenti), premio che secondo pronostico sarebbe dovuto andare al compianto Chadwick Boseman.
