People’s Choice Awards 2019: trionfano Avengers: Endgame e Stranger Things!

Non potevano che essere il più alto incasso della storia “Avenger: Endgame” e il suo degno rappresentante, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), i dominatori della 45ma cerimonia dei People’s Choice Awards, evento che elegge l’eccellenze della stagione nelle categorie Cinema, Televisione e Musica.

Il film dei fratelli Russo si è aggiudicato il duplice premio come film dell’anno e film d’azione del 2019, mentre a Downey Jr. ha ricevuto il premio come star maschile in un film del 2019 (assieme ad altri membri del MCU come Tom Holland e Zendaya).

Nella categoria televisiva “Stranger Things 3” ha conquistato il pubblico votante, scalzando pilastri come “Game of Thrones” e “The Walking Dead“, portandosi a casa 3 premi, fra cui quello a Millie Bobby Brown come star femminile in una serie tv del 2019.

L’ingresso di Kevin Hart, venuto a ritirare il premio come miglior comico del 2019 per lo stand-up show “Kevin Hart: Irresponsible” dopo l’incidente automobilistico di settembre che gli è quasi costato la vita, ha portato tutto il pubblico presente ad alzarsi in piedi.

L’attore, che non tornerà a lavorare prima del 2020, è apparso in buona forma e commosso da tutto l’affetto ricevuto dai fan e dallo star system in questo periodo di grande difficoltà. Nel suo discorso ha ringraziato Dio e la sua famiglia per essergli stati vicino sempre, e li pubblico per l’affetto dimostratogli.
