Marvel and I have mutually agreed to part ways on Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness due to creative differences. I am thankful for our collaboration and will remain on as EP.

Sempre sul suo profilo Twitter, il regista aveva fatto sapere qualche settimana fa che, dopo Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness, avrebbe diretto un nuovo horror scritto insieme a C. Robert Cargill.
Il regista si è già ampiamente cimentato nel genere, avendo diretto The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Liberaci dal Male e Sinister.
I’m often asked if I’ll ever return to R-rated horror. The answer is a resounding YES.
After Doctor Strange: In the Mutiverse of Madness, I’ll go straight into a horror film I’ve already written with @Massawyrm.
