Assassin’s Creed: riprese aggiuntive per Jeremy Irons e Marion Cotillard

PIC BY GEOFF ROBINSON PHOTOGRAPHY 07976 880732.Picture shows actror Jeremy Irons taking a break at Ely Cathedral on Tuesday 26 July during the filming of Assassin's Creed.Actress Marion Cotillard has been spotted filming extra scenes for Hollywood blockbuster, Assassin's Creed - which comes out in December.The stunning 40-year-old French actress was seen walking into Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire with English actor Jeremy Irons to shoot interior scenes for the action adventure movie, based on the hugely popular gaming franchise of the same name.Marion, who was recently seen filming the World War Two movie Allied with co-star Brad Pitt, was dressed in a black overcoat and carried her costume into the cathedral.It is not the first time the pretty actress has filmed at the magnificent Norman cathedral before.Two years ago she was there to shoot scenes for the movie, Macbeth, in which she played Lady Macbeth, opposite Michael Fassbender.Fassbender is also playing the lead in Assassin's Creed, 15th Century Spanish assassin Aguilar de Nerha and his present day descendant Callum Lynch, who has to defeat the Templars - but he was not seen on the set today.The film is expected to be the first in a trilogy and is based on a Spanish battle between the Assassins and the Templars. It is being directed by Justin Kurzel and many of the scenes were shot earlier in the year.

In questi giorni, nella città inglese di Ely, si stanno svolgendo le riprese aggiuntive di Assassin’s Creed, adattamento firmato dal regista Justin Kurzel del popolare franchise videoludico della Ubisoft.

Ecco la sinossi ufficiale del film:
“Grazie a una tecnologia rivoluzionaria in grado di sbloccare i  ricordi genetici, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) sperimenta le avventure di Aguilar, suo antenato nella Spagna del XV secolo, scoprendo così di discendere da una misteriosa società segreta, gli Assassini. Accumulando conoscenze e incredibili abilità, Callum sarà in grado di sfidare una potente e crudele organizzazione Templare dei giorni nostri.”
Le riprese di Assassin’s Creed hanno preso il via a settembre a Malta, per poi muoversi in Spagna e concludersi a Londra. Ricordiamo che il regista Justin Kurzel (Macbeth) ha diretto i protagonisti Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Ariane Labed, Brendan Gleeson e Jeremy Irons su una sceneggiatura di Bill Collage, Adam Cooper e Michael Lesslie. L’uscita del film nelle sale statunitensi è prevista per il 21 dicembre 2016, mentre in Italia arriverà a gennaio 2017.
