The Rider di Chloe Zhaom è stato eletto miglior film del 2018, mentre Alfonso Cuarón ha conquistato i premi per la miglior regia e la miglior fotografia grazie a Roma.
Olivia Colman eEthan Hawke hanno ottenuto i riconoscimenti come migliore attrice e miglior attore rispettivamente per La Favorita di Yorgos Lanthimos e First Reformed di Paul Schrader.
